I couldn’t put this book down because of the many surprising twists and turns. Complex characters, a strong plot, romance, beautiful scenery in St. Simon’s Island, and even visits from the spirit of her deceased young husband. A story about moving on, but also of discovering that sometimes a change of scenery reaps great rewards. Author Renee Propes owes me a night’s sleep. The story grabs your heart and won’t let go. I highly recommend this charming book.

This cleverly written, entertaining Mystery captured my imagination and held my attention throughout the whole read. It was very hard to put down! Once a widow myself, I easily related to Natalie's situation and wanted only the best for her from the beginning to the end. No one should have to endure all that she did, but she held her own through all the adversity that came her way and never lost sight of her destiny. I didn't want the story to end and now can't stop thinking about it!

I read this book in two and half days. The story kept me in suspense . I couldn’t wait for what would happen next! I am a Georgia native . Loved the book setting and history of the Golden Isle. Ms. Propes is a wonderful author. Strongly recommend for your reader’s list.
